Very early in Wander's founding, we discovered 1% for the Planet. It was a complete no brainer, simply because of the shared mission. We appreciate the amazing community, initiative and goals of the non profit. 

To become a member of 1% for the planet, you must commit to contribute at least 1% of your revenue to an approved environmentally focused non profit in the 1% for the Planet network. They approve and ensure that every dollar contributed is actually used to protect and better the earth. 

Our goal is to surpass our contributions to the environment every year. There is simply no reason why we should not, especially at this critical juncture in world history. Our long term goal is to be able to follow Patagonia and Yvon Chouinard's standard of 10% of revenue or 1% of profits, whichever is greater.
